Background Attention

When I'm shooting a photo up this close I try to pay attention to the colours in the background. Even though the scene is going to be blurry back there, the colour can really have an impact on the overall image. This little detail is important during a wedding or portrait shoots. The overall mood will be impacted by this detail, so if you can control the background your really in control of the foreground. Obviously the most important part of this photo is the bride, but if the background in this photo was yellow I assure you the picture would have a whole different feel.
