A lot of new things are happening in my life right now. My family and I recently moved to Kelowna, BC from Calgary, Alberta where we had been living for the past 8 years (we are originally from Vancouver). We got a new house we are working on, kids are in a new school, my wife Michelle in a new job, we got a new puppy named Juneau, I made a new website and I figured I'd might as well start a new blog just to round things out. ;)
I have been running a Wordpress blog (robmosesphotography.com) for the past 8 years and I continue to do so. Before I started doing that blog I was doing a different all wedding blog, but I wanted to branch out and have a place to share my other work and eventually that one became my main web presents. Since I got this new website I figured it was probably time I started blogging about wedding photography again.
Rather than do a typical wedding blog where I just post wedding pictures and say how great the wedding was, I want to try something a little different. I am going to share a photo or two and talk about the process I went through to shoot that particular photo and why I chose to set it up in the way I did. I don't know if this will be interesting to anyone or not, but I just want to try something a little different.
I will also talk about other wedding and portrait photography subjects. Somethings I will blog about will be technical stuff regarding lightings set ups, gear, social media and whatever else I can think of that someone might be interested in hearing about. If you have any ideas, shoot them over to me.
